Drag Race France Season 4: what you need to know

Season 4 kicks off on July 8 on france.tv, with a new episode every Thursday. Ten contestants are competing for the crown: Azemylia, Creatine Price, Daisy Superbitch, Fluffy Bidule, Holly White, La Harpie, Lana Cotta, Malawitte, Margarette, and Sublyme. On the judging panel, Nicky Doll, Daphné Bürki, and Loïc Prigent are joined by singer Anggun.

This season puts the spotlight on drag from across France, with contestants from Nice, Cannes, Bordeaux, Lille, Marseille, and beyond, alongside Parisians Malawitte, Sublyme, and Margarette.

New this season: the golden wand. Before leaving the werk room, each eliminated contestant must hand this wand to a competitor of her choice. Whoever receives it can, in the following episode, save one of the queens in the bottom three, or save herself if she's in danger, while also deciding who will face off in the final lip sync. It's a twist that adds a serious dose of strategy and tension to the competition.

For the premiere episode, the judging panel welcomes an exceptional guest: Isabelle Adjani.

More viewing parties will be added to this article as they're announced. Check out the full agenda on queer.paris, or browse directly through all drag events in Paris.
