Métacorps
It is with a sense of first-time experience that we enter this space. This show was born within the walls of Tenon Hospital in September 2024. Today, playing with our bodies, making our words heard, and sharing our stories in La Roche has immense meaning for us.
In this circus creation, a collection of aerial, acrobatic, dance and expressive disciplines exposes artists questioning existence and how they embody it.
It's a play about time: the passage of time, the time we endure, the time we choose, and the time we reject. Time that is measured, exhausted, and regenerated. It's an invitation to reconsider our bodies, to look at them differently, to question them, to love them, to inhabit them, and to reinvent them.
"3.440 kg, 52 cm, blood type B+.
48 respiratory movements and 131 pulses per minute.
206 bones, 639 muscles, 36.7 degrees Celsius.
60% water. It's time to leave Mother Earth and return to Earth.
The world will soon be his playing field.
I, you, he, she: She will be "she", it's arbitrary.
