Nicolas Barry's Asylum Application

The Asylum Application is a dance-theatre duo that aims to denounce the interviews conducted at the OFPRA (French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons), particularly those related to asylum applications based on sexual orientation. Two scores, one textual, the other choreographic, overlap to create a performance that reveals both the absurdity of the administration, the relentless interrogation, and the exhausting experience our society inflicts on exiles.
