Atelier à Paris Santé Boucry "L'impact des transphobies sur les parcours de transition de genre"

Gender transition journeys can take many forms, particularly in social and medical terms. This workshop aims to explore the support systems that need to be put in place today and the impact of transphobia on these journeys.

Discrimination, mockery, injunctions and difficulties encountered in social relationships can have significant consequences on the lived experience and mental health of trans people.

Based on concrete situations, this workshop will allow for discussion on the different forms of transphobia, their impact on transition journeys and the psychological suffering they can generate.

The meeting will also be an opportunity to continue reflection and dialogue with trans associations on support practices and work carried out collectively.
